Job Description

Real Estate (RE) is a Group Function providing advice and services in the areas of property, facilities management and travel. The role of RE is to provide functional leadership across the Group in these areas and to assist the Shell Group extract maximum value from their real estate assets through improved property portfolio and facilities management.
For our team we are currently looking for a Projects HSE Specialist. The position provides HSE support, challenge and assurance for the RE Transactions & Projects (T&P) scope over the next 4 years. The Projects HSE Specialist will assist T&P Managers to drive the appropriate HSE culture and engage with key contractor management and stakeholders. The successful candidate will build and maintain a network of T&P staff and contractor focal points and establish HSE processes that will assist with the delivery of the T&P HSE Plan and initiatives.

Additional activities will be:
*Provide HSE guidance on Contractor HSE Management strategies for T&P projects within the Territory.
*Audit/Assess Contractor HSE Management Systems and Capability; provide guidance on contractor selection and HSE advice to the project team(s).
*Provide the interface to project management companies (PMC) on HSE aspects; assist PMC with Group HSE requirements on project development and execution stages.
*Train PMCs and Contractor holders on effective contractor management; support major project deliverables as defined by the Control Framework and Real Estate HSE guidelines. Includes Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Engagement plans (alignment with the Group Reputation Standard), scoping reports, HSE baseline reports, HSE premises, Hazard Identification register(s), HEMP, Design HSE cases, including documentation for HSE assurance reviews.
*Provide interface for contractor HSE management with appropriate business HSE groups; provide an independent challenge to ALARP risk assessments.
*Implement behavioural safety approach and continuous process improvement strategies.
*Standardize best practices and share with regional counterparts.
