Position: Rotating Equipment Project Manager – Marine Diesel Generator FPSO
Job Description:
1.Ensure projects are adequately resourced in terms of manpower, materials and equipment.
2. Ensuring that appropriate HSE procedures, equipment and training is in place.
3. Ensure that project performance is measured and is specification compliant.
4. Manage the effective maintenance of the projects.
5. Liaise with the customer on all technical and commercial matters.
6. Ensure projects are being managed within their cost budgets.
7. Ensure that invoicing is up to date and accurate.
8. Provide engineering support as required.
9. Provide customer with project plans as required.
10. Ensure, on projects, that all equipment is specified and ordered as required by the project plan.
11. Arrange all installation and commissioning activities of projects.
12. Providing customers with product and technical information
13. Occasional travel to customer and vendor site
14. Serves as a resource for less experience department staff and provides training as needed
15. Acts appropriately in front of customers to represents the company in a positive manner
16. Defining KPIs for the project and department staff and review them on a quarterly basis
17. Adherence to deadlines, bonds, payment terms & conditions.
18. Enhance Score & Profitability of Contracts

1. On time / budget performance of projects.
2. Profitability and customer satisfaction of contracts.
3. No on site lost time incidents.
4. No environmental incidents.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications / Personal Attributes
1. Rotation into Lagos, Nigeria 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible based on Project Requirement)
2. Engineering or Technical background preferably through a formal bachelors degree program
3. Technical experience, operations experience.
4. Strong product knowledge of Marine power generators and gas turbines.
5. Should have some knowledge in all types of rotating equipment products.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership skills and PC and presentation skills.
9. Strong ability to develop relationship with others
10. Self starter and ability to make technical and business decisions
11. Ability to handle human resource issues
12. P & L Experience
13. Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Projects
14. Minimum 10 year of progressive experience
15. Substantial experience in the Oil & Gas industry in both offshore facilities or FPSO
