Job Description

An international oil and gas major operator seeks to recruit a Project Start Up / Commissioning Engineer with previous experience. This role is based in Ireland and is offered on a contract basis (12 months).

The Integrated Commissioning & Start Up Manager will be required to:

  •  Be responsible for the Overall Integrated Start Up Logic and procedures for the total Project; Develop the overall integrated start up procedure, as a roll up of the individual asset start-up programmes
  • Coordinate the start-up activities across the Project delivery teams
  • Liaise with Production Operations on all aspects of Start Up activities
  • Participate in reviews / HAZOPS/HAZIDS of Start Up Activities Support pre-commissioning of the Hydrocarbon Process systems for the terminal
  • Develop the Hydrocarbon Process Commissioning Dossiers for the terminal
  • Inspect and accept hydrocarbon systems at mechanical completion
  • Guide and Support Operations in the initial start-up and operation of the terminal; Identify requirement and ensure certification/testing for temporary equipment required for start up
  • Plan and execute Peer Reviews and Start Up on Paper exercises of the Integrated Start Up procedures
  • Ensure all aspects of flawless project delivery for plan project are in place at Start Up.
