Job Description

Our client has a new requirement for an experienced Contract Administrator to work on an ongoing project in Nigeria.

Duties will include but not limited to :

• Drafting and Transfer of contractual documents.
• Ensure accurate handovers with up to date information and filling.
• Review all contractual correspondence and accurately identify requirements. Follow up any correspondence.
• Advises the Project Director / Manager on aspects of the Project execution which deviate from the requirements of the Contract.
• Manage change of orders and obtain scheduling and pricing for all relevant disciplines of the project.
• Support functions and check deadlines for pending completion notices.
• Support Procurement and subcontracting functions in respect of Bonds and Guarantees.
• Liaise between corporate functions and vendors. Assist Project Management whenever a loss and/or damage falls under insurance programme.
• Ensure execution of legal matters affecting the project. Provide support to the Litigation Department in case of Legal Proceedings or Arbitration.
• Ensure regular reports in accordance with procedures and instructions
• Ensures adherence to practice and procedures guidelines are implemented.
• Participate in Pre and Post project reporting, coordinating partners.
• Provide support when required to Project Management in reviewing contractual documentation.

You will be computer literate, a good team player and able to work under your own initiative and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

The experienced candidate will work a 75/21 rotation in Nigeria and be available ASAP. This is a 12 month contract paid on a day rate
