AVEVA has announced that TOTAL E&P Nigeria Ltd (TEPNG) has adopted its Engineering & Design solutions as part of an integrated engineering & design approach. TEPNG is the operator of a joint venture with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The company has invested in acquired licenses for AVEVA’s PDMS, Instrumentation, Electrical, Engineering, Diagrams and Review programs and has fully implemented the software across its local site modifications and repair projects.

“This investment in AVEVA’s solutions demonstrates the value our products deliver to owner operators engaged in complex engineering projects,” Fredy Ktourza, Senior Vice President, Western Europe and Africa, AVEVA. “This important deployment will help us to increase our footprint within Nigeria, not only with the IOC’s, but also with the local engineering and construction contractors that are engaged with projects throughout the country. AVEVA’s Integrated Engineering & Design approach gives a flexible and effective 3D design and engineering environment that increases project efficiency and enables real-time collaboration, across the TEPNG organisation and with its local contractors. We greatly value the trust they have placed in our technology and service.”

AVEVA’s Integrated Engineering & Design approach increases project efficiency and reduces engineering and design costs by offering complementary products that draw on common processes, disciplines and deliverables, through a single managed information model.
