State-run explorer Oil & Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) has notified three discoveries in February to India’s upstream regulator, the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons.
One discovery is at the Aliabet #2 well in the CB-OSN-2003/1 exploration block in the Cambay basin in western India. This discovery produced 12,884 cubic meters a day of gas and 6 cubic meters a day of condensate, ONGC said in a statement.
On further testing after the discovery was notified, it produced 77,167 cubic meters of gas a day and 11 cubic meters of condensate a day, the explorer said.
The second discovery is at the Malleswaram #1 well in the PEL block 1A in the Krishna Godavari onland basin in eastern India. This discovery produced 47.52 cubic meters a day of oil and 11124 cubic meters a day of gas, ONGC said.
The third discovery at the GS-29#6 well in the shallow offshore Krishna Godavari basin in eastern India produced 570.33 cubic meters a day of oil and 118,925 cubic meters a day of gas, ONGC said.
