Spencer Ogden are the preferred recruitment partner for one of the most exciting E&P’s in the market presently; currently have a fantastic role for a Team Lead Reservoir Engineer to join their established team in Aberdeen. Experience on West Africa Assets is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong team ethic and desire to make an impact within the development team. As well as this it is essential that the applicant must have ‘hands-on’ technical experience with field development planning, 3D SIMULATION MODEL BUILDING EXPERIENCE to complement a broad range of reservoir engineering skills.

The successful applicant will require:

Degree in Engineering or Science discipline, preferably with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering Experience in a relevant production technology and operational role, preferably with an operating oil company, major service company or consultancy

Excellent communication and reporting skills with focused project management skills for project delivery

Strong analytical problem solving skills for technical problems within a multi-disciplined environment Ability to work using own initiative without regular guidance or supervision.

Experience of mentoring and assisting other engineers with a project environment desirable Excellent computer skills with knowledge and experience using engineering software applications such as Eclipse, PetrelRE, Prosper, GAP, SAPHIR, WellCat etc. Knowledge and experience of visual basic programming as well as data-base development would be highly beneficial.
